Terms of Service – MachineFabric

1. Service MachineFabric is a local-first software tool that processes user-selected files through modular plugins (“cartridges”).

2. Provider The service is provided by Bahram Joharshamshiri, Partita IVA 04755640614, Italy.

3. License A limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license is granted to use the software.

4. User Responsibility Users are solely responsible for:

• Files they process
• Compliance with applicable laws

5. Local Processing Processing occurs on-device. The provider does not access user files unless explicitly enabled by the user.

6. Analytics (Optional) Users may opt-in to anonymous usage analytics. This can be disabled at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

• Software → owned by the provider
• User data → owned by the user

8. Disclaimer The software is provided “as is” without warranties.

9. Limitation of Liability The provider is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Third-Party Cartridges

The software allows installation and execution of third-party cartridges.

These cartridges are not provided or controlled by MachineFabric unless explicitly stated.

MachineFabric makes no warranties regarding third-party cartridges, including their safety, legality, or data handling practices.

Users install and use cartridges at their own risk.

Any data processing, transmission, or external communication performed by a cartridge is the sole responsibility of its provider.

MachineFabric shall not be liable for damages arising from the use of third-party cartridges.

10. Termination Access may be revoked for misuse.

11. Governing Law Italian law applies.
