Nightly update: live models page and curated model set feedback

This nightly extends the recent model UX work beyond the app itself. MachineFabric now presents curated model sets more clearly on the website, and there is a dedicated public path for suggesting new model sets and giving feedback on existing recommendations.

What changed

  • The MachineFabric logo and app icon were refreshed, giving the app a cleaner and more unified visual identity across the product and the website.
  • The website now has a first-class Models page instead of the older Curated Models wording. It presents the live curated sets from models.machinefabric.com and links directly to the recommended Hugging Face repos.
  • The website navigation and footer now treat Models as a core product area alongside Downloads, Cartridges, Docs, and Supporters.
  • MachineFabric now has a dedicated public modelsets submissions inbox for curated model set proposals and recommendation feedback. This gives users a clear place to propose new bundled recommendations, request changes, or flag stale sets.
  • Definition feedback was simplified as well. Contribution links are now grouped more cleanly, with one path for model set submissions and feedback, and one path for capability and media definition work.

Why it matters

  • Curated model sets are meant to make local model selection feel obvious to end users. This nightly makes those recommendations easier to browse outside the app and easier to improve over time.
  • The public feedback loop around model recommendations is now more explicit. That should make it easier to keep the published sets current, practical, and aligned with real user hardware and use cases.

Notes

  • This is a nightly build intended for testing and feedback.
  • The main focus of this build is the public-facing model experience: discovery, recommendation clarity, and feedback channels.
